Snowy’s Unique Habits

Snowy is a unique dog with her own unique habits that make her who and what she is.

These habits define her personality and what she does and so here is an article portraying these habits that she has.

One habit that Snowy has is sleeping in a specific spot.

Most dogs just drop wherever they are when tired but Snowy is a dog with specific taste.

She always makes sure to sleep on something soft.

Whether it is a pillow, the couch, or a blanket, she always sleeps on those over the cold, hard floor.

Another unique habit that Snowy has is barking when she wants something.

Because Snowy is unable to speak, as she is a dog, she has her own way of demanding something from us.

She barks, quietly at first but louder as time goes on until her demands are not met.

She barks for when she wants food, or when a toy is not within her grasp.

Sometimes it does get annoying but we learned that if you pick her up, she stops barking but if she doesn’t stop barking, we have no other thing to do but comply with her demand.

Snowy has also acquired the habit of sitting in her someone’s arms while they are eating food during a meal.

If not, then Snowy stands on her two hind legs and begs with whining noises until she is picked up so that she can see and smell on the food on the table with the hopes of some going into her mouth and down into her stomach.

Snowy is also like a cat.

Snowy sometimes is seen as a cat so when strangers see her, they ask, “Is it a cat?”

And the answer every time to that is no, she is a dog.

She also grooms herself by licking her paws like other cats and another unique thing is she walks on top of things like a cat.

For visual example, her is a photo of her:

In this photo Snowy is walking on top of the couch as a cat would with precision and agility and in the next photo she is sleeping on the top of the couch with agility as she stays on top without falling off.

Snowy likes to fall to the ground and roll over on to her back when she wants to play with us or get belly scratches.

We always comply and when she gets rubbed on the belly she usually falls asleep and when we stop, she wakes up and the process just continues of continuing to scratch her belly until she falls asleep again and the pattern repeats itself.

All these things working together help make Snowy’s personality and they define what she does in our eyes and we learn as time goes on, that Snowy is different, she is special.
